The burn out is such a real struggle. Especially with anyone who finds it hard to say no. Taking on more and more in your job, family, social life can leave you feeling anxious and angry.
When we tip the scales heavy towards something and forgo having fun and taking some self-care time we neglect our mental health. We already have a lot of responsibility in our daily lives that we need to leave space to have fun! Take time to watch a funny movie, have a pool day, go out with some friends, volunteer, grab brunch, spend time reading a book, etc.
Your life will feel more satisfied if you’re having fun in between your responsibilities, and your responsibilities won’t drag you down so much if you have things to look forward to.
My challenge this week is to reevaluate where I am burning myself out and how I can take some time to do the things that bring me joy and keep me satisfied.
You can feed your soul and get what you need to get done. Life is beautiful when you find balance.
